The Central Iowa Workforce Development Board (CIWDB) and Central Iowa CEO Board have strategy and oversight responsibility for the workforce development system in the eight central Iowa counties of Boone, Dallas, Jasper, Madison, Marion, Polk, Story, and Warren.

As the core employment system for the state of Iowa, IowaWORKS serves as the one-stop shop for all opportunities in Iowa’s workforce. We help Iowans in search of career assistance and employers in need of new workforce solutions.

IowaWORKS is a partner of the American Job Center network. Each local offices houses the staff and core partners that entail the state’s workforce services.
