The primary role of the Local Workforce Development Board (WDB) is to serve as a strategic convener to promote and broker effective relationships between the Chief Lead Elected Official (CLEO) and economic, education, and workforce partners throughout the Local Workforce Development Area. Please find below the applicable documents to be completed during selection and appointment of the CLEO and Local WDB members and during certification of Local WDBs.
Completed appointment documentation for Local WDB membership and Local WDB Certification must be sent to Iowa Workforce Development (IWD) for review. Documentation must be submitted electronically to: WIOAgovernance@iwd.iowa.gov.
